What it does
Piper is a small, fast text-to-speech engine that runs fully offline, even on a Raspberry Pi. It comes with many ready-made voices across languages. This is the maintained successor to the original rhasspy/piper repo, now run by the Open Home Foundation.
Good for: Offline speech for home automation, assistants or accessibility tools.
