What it does
LangChain is a code library for building apps on top of language models. It gives you ready-made pieces for prompts, tool calls, memory and connections to hundreds of model providers and data sources, so you don't wire each one up by hand.
Good for: Developers who want a standard toolkit to build an AI feature or agent in Python or JavaScript.
